Spherical Fuzzy WASPAS-based Entropy Objective Weighting for International Payment Method Selection

In international trade, exporters prefer to receive payments as quickly possible, and importers want make late possible. this respect, the payment field, an essential condition for trade transactions, also represents positions of conflict. addition, there are many cases in which various variables must be considered rather than only one specific variable representatively affecting payment, particularly case import-export Small Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) from emerging countries. A selection proper methods can categorized a Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) issue. Therefore, study aims propose novel efficient Spherical Fuzzy Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment based Entropy Objective Weighting method (SF-EW WASPAS-SF) evaluate with uncertain information. First, SF-EW model is applied determine relative weights critical factors. Second, alternatives prioritized by WASPAS-SF approach. Five factors four proposed on experts’ opinions existing literature. real-world Vietnamese SMEs presented validate applicability framework. The results indicated that “Characteristics (PA)” had most significant impact selection. comparison, “Letters Credit (L/C)” was reliable highest ranking available traders. Furthermore, sensitivity analysis performed examine validity robustness decision support model. Consequently, could contribute services context globalization trade.
